Diane's Delights

Blues. If you are a tatter and you read blogs, then you know, I mean, you KNOW, exactly what I am talking about! The Lacelovin' Librarian loves her blues.

Never do I sm to have a lot of blues in my thread stash, but while tatting this Polish Oval Doily, I see I must make some changes in my thread selection. Blue is surely beautiful!

I am using #80 Lizbeth and so far this measures 7" x 4".

I have three more rows to go.

The pattern is from this Polish publication,
same as The Monster, but different edition.

  2. It looks very beautiful in those blues. I saw that you previously mentioned that again you are having trouble with Lizbeth thread, so I have to ask: was the air any of those shades as well???Did Mr G have to cover his ears?

    1. Hi tattrldy,

I thought things were better with the #80 Lizbeth till I got to the light blue... terrible!

Splitting, breaking, knots - the whole nine yards. I am truly disgusted. Handy Hands should ] be ashamed that they have not handled the very poor quality of their product. Maybe they should be boycotted....

  3. Blues always catch my eye! I'm pretty partial to it! Blue and white just seems so crisp and clean to me! Can't wait to see the finished product! :)

  4. That is a lot of work to have the thread be so bad and they charge so much for it too. I love the look and have to go back and check the magazine :)
