  1. My mom used to raise Siamese cats, they are unique personalities and I wonder how you keep him away from this mega doily that is incredible by the way!
P.S. you got to enter your items in a fair somewhere, or are you just being nice and letting others win? :)

    1. I am very fortunate with Mr G, as ge is totally not interested in my tatting or in thread. My dear, departed Misha used to try and eat any little, and I mean TINY, remnant of thread that he could spy! I had to be super careful. G just likes interactive play and talking, singing and verbal games... Entirely different personality and, I am told, very typically Siamese. More like a dog... : )

  2. The doily is looking magnificent!
I've only ever had tortoiseshell cats (torties), but they are very vocal and 'dog' like too. Our dogs and cats really do have such unique personalities!

  3. It's wonderful, I can hardly see the beads but I know they are still there. Probably you've already said that but I forgot where's a picture of this beautiful monster as finished. I love cats too, I used to have one when I was a little girl.

  4. The doily is beautiful! As always, Mr. G is looking gorgeous, too. Love the wide-eyed look in the one photo!

  6. LOL, Squijum loves those kinds of things too. His favorites, naturally, are the drawstrings on my work pants.

That doily looks amazing. I take it this round requires you to make a lot of those scallops separately-- you'll have to count very carefully to make sure they're correctly spaced. If you accidentally put one off by one chain, I expect I'll hear the howls from here!

    1. Ah, if you knew how long I counted and questioned. .. I even did a diagram! I do hope after all that, howling will not be necessary. : ))
