Revelling With Renulek

I was going to change colours on the third round, but I really like this Venus thread. It is soft, but I find it super to work with. So, I am going to use it for the whole thing, if the whole thing is not one of the regular Renulek monster-doilies!  I haven’t tatted a large one in one colour in a while.

If I am going to run out,  I will have to get more creative.

So, Tatters, who sent me this ball of pink? I forget! I thought it was Suneeti, or perhaps Liyarra. Well???

Then there is the progress in the Lucky Clover, which I am also enjoying, as it is being tatted in #80, vintage DMC, from Tally Tatty. Another delightful thread.

This one is almost too large for the scanner.

  1. What a delightful doily that does justice to the thread and its color.

  2. Well I guess Renulek is done with the doily so the next is the last! To think I was ready for something little larger oh well. Some people are doing coasters I am little sad may have to pick an older one of hers to do, oh well

    1. I don't think we are done yet!

I read it as the doily from last year is the first three rows of the current pattern. Then she says she will send the pattern. - transcribed- to those who ask. Hmmm. I hope it will be a bigger one!

I think there is more to go. : )

  3. Wonderful pink, no wonder you don't want to change colours!

  4. Your pink is very bright. I do hope Renulek's doily will be larger then the 3 rows. Your clover doily is pretty, and there are beads in this row.

  5. I love your pink, let's hope it's not going to be another huge piece. The green doily is also looking lovely, two master pieces in progress

  6. Look at you go! How many doilies have you made so far this year?

  7. That is a very pretty shade of pink :-) Looks like it will be another beautiful doily. If the Lucky Clover doily is made with size 80, think how big it would have been in a larger thread! It is pretty, though.

  8. These are both truly gorgeous, but I simply love the design of the one in green! :)
