Tatted with Liyarra's #40 Venus,
a soft but lovely thread to work with. It has lustre.

  1. Very nice, I do have that book too, I want to make that scarf in the book, wonder what thread they use on it.

  2. Pretty! I would never have thought to make it in those colors, but it looks good. (sometimes colors intimidate me)

  3. Lovely! The book looks really interesting. I look forward to seeing what else your shuttles are inspired to make from it.

  4. I love the way you pair blues with greens - although perhaps this particular blue looks more like lavender - it's very effective. Even without beads......

    1. A lot of the choice is happenstance, Maureen, as Liyarra sent a bunch of samples and I am trying them out. Fox. : )

  6. Very very pretty. I do like the delicate look of bare threads. But… not trying to be difficult, didn't you need two shuttles for the outer round?

  7. I bought this book when I was with Val in Singapore, so it brings back lovely memories everytime I look at it or tat from it. Love the patterns, but have only attempted one so far. Love the colours you have used

  8. It's such a nice book, isn't it? I love the photos - everything looks so elegant. It took me a second to realise I've also made this - looks so different in colour!

    1. Not really fond of it - would not have bought it had I seen it first. There is not a lot in it I will use.
