Hearty Hiatus

A substantial little pattern...Karey Solomon challenges,
even with a small heart like this one.

Thanks Karey - love this (once I got it figured out!).

For scale:

I love how the thread, #40 Lizbeth and  Krystle's Wisteria Lane.
It worked out so perfectly.

Update on mystery pattern.
I am astounded no one recognizes it!

  1. I know I've seen all those chains and little rings before! It IS a Jan Stawasz, from his first book. and you're nearly finished. Well done. I like the little heart too. I'm on the search for more hearts at the moment.

  2. The colour variation worked out well for the heart pattern. The colour popped in all the right places and so symmetrical too. Your doily is looking fantastic. I'm waiting for that book which will be arriving soon. What colour is that Lizbeth?

  7. What a cute little heart pattern! The colors are so spring like - a nice change from all the white I see in my yard! The large doily pattern looks really familiar, but I cannot quite place it. Hope to find out what the pattern is soon!

    1. Hi, Valentina!

      Your English is just fine.

      You are too kind!

I do not stiffen my work at all. I find if I tat tightly enough I do not need to - just press it.
