Jaunty January

Well, off to a great start here! Can any of you Tatters out there identify this? It is a lovely tat as I have to lay attention. Not too difficult, but definitely challenging.

Using some #50 Altin Basak... Not enamoured anymore with this soft, fuzzy thread.... Ah, thread grumbling and here it is only the second day of the year!

This is tatted in Sally's teal Cèbèlia and my own denim #30 of the same brand. It is “Harriet,” designed by Kirsten Christensen.

  2. The top one sort of looks like an Iris pattern to me. Not 'into' doilies though so not so hot on identifying them!!!

  9. Hi Fox
That looks like an Iris pattern to me, and a lovely colour should look lovely when finished.
Lovely motifs you have started the new year well.

  10. Looks like everyone knows this pattern--it's a new one to me, and I look forward to seeing it all finished. I really like the last pattern...have to check my book!

  11. I spotted it was Irene, but wasn't going to comment from shame about my unfinished Delia. :)
I dread that you finish yours before I finish mine...will that be enough to get me to dig it out and add some more thread? Oh the suspense. :P
Bonne Année Bonne Santé à toi aussi, bises

  12. I said just the other day that Iris' style was easy to recognize. Isn't that just a wonderful doily pattern book.

  13. I suspect it may be one of Iris Niebach's patterns, but I haven't got any of her books, so I can't tell for sure. Something about it just seems to say "Iris" when I look at it. Lovely pattern, though and I can hardly wait to see what it looks like when it is completed. I'm sure it will be beautiful.
