Evolving

Olympus #40 thread

I find it interesting to see how designs develop...

This still needs some tweaking, but the shape now seems better to me.

    1. Thanks, Margaret. I have started on another and each time it improves. Quite a process!
      Mr. G. remains unimpressed.

    2. Sorry he's unimpressed, I wonder if its the colour or having your time on tatting and not cuddling him.
Hope he's settled in his new home

  2. Your medallion is coming along beautifully. Where do you find those great safety pins without the double loop at the ends?

    1. RepWeaver,
I could not find these anywhere in a shop so I had to order them online - I forget where - maybe ebay... cheap, easy and very useful!

    3. Paper clips are too thick for the thread. I do use them at times, but they are often too thick I find.

    4. Coilless safety pins are available at Hobby Lobby. I have purchased different sizes of coilless pins there. http://www.hobbylobby.com/ and http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/1-1/4-nickel-coiless-safety-pins-274068/ and http://shop.hobbylobby.com/search/?keyword=safety%20pins&match=AND&F_Sort=2&F_ALL=Y

  5. I like this hexagonal design, but most without the last row: looks like "happily".
