Change of Heart

This is such a versatile pattern and was much easier the second time around.  It just demands close attention to the joins.

Many beads and colour combinations galore are possible and I found I was eager to finish because I had thought of a more pleasing combo! But, alas, the border beckons...

  1. Cute! Can't wait to see the other colour combo - blue and yellow are the colours of a team I don't support here, so I am unjustly biased against them ;-)

  2. I like this color combo, the yellow really sets off the heart shape.
you always pick good colors, you have such an eye for it.

  4. Thank you!

Monica, These are NOT my favourite colours either, but I bought only three Valdani colours and these were the ones I had not tried so I put them together, being very impatient to try all three! : ))

    1. Hehe, I know the feeling! I can totally see the purple and blue together, and the purple and yellow too! ;-)

The way the yellow inner heart is highlighted in this one makes me wonder what it would look like with two colours, but suing the same one for the two inner sections... (ie., everything inside what you did in yellow here)

    1. Hi Miranda,
Not me! I love the first one in purple. : ))

  6. Having the two colors is very helpful for seeing how the first round is done, so I appreciate your experiments! I also like the beads. I think this heart would be festive on a T-shirt or tote bag.
