Never Would Have Guessed...

...that I would ever have tatted anything from the Ruth Scharf book.

I ordered it because it was so unusual, but I probably never would have tatted anything in it, but for my reading umintsuru's blog and following her Tat-Along.  I figured everything was just too complicated.

Now, just look at this:

#68-100 Motif Challenge,

Thank you, umintsuru!
This one is for you.

  2. Very pretty...I like the contrast of the pale blue in the flowers with the darker color I'm the leaves. Very nicely done :-)

  3. When I view your work, I'm often convicted at how little imagination I have. You always come up with such lovely color combinations. Love the goat, too, by the way.

    1. Nice words, Eliz! I always wonder if I have really awful colour sense! As a kid I was always told that I did : O

  10. Oh, well done Fox, it looks gorgeous. You have a great sense of colour. What a great combination. I am so glad you did. What's next? Another Ruth Scharf's pattern? Another repeat in a great colour combination?

I think I would have tatted this just to receive such amazing comments.

  12. I love the blue of your leaves! I just finished my flowers and discovered my tension is all over the map so no two are the same. Oh well, they will have to do, as I don't have enough thread to redo them in the same colour. I'll post them on my blog tomorrow. I am always amazed by how perfect your tension is!
