Fun with the Flu

I am home in bed.  I cannot believe it!  Four days of this and it is about 13 degrees (Celsius = 55 Fahrenheit!) outside   - bright and sunny and not wintery at all.  My favourite weather. And here I lie, blowing and coughing and disgustingly mucous-ridden!

But, not to be beaten by the dastardly bug, I have taken my shuttles to bed with me, and though there are a few fever-inspired errors and one wonky chain, I have almost completed a pattern I have been itching to tat.  I will post the finished work tomorrow or the next day.

Anybody know what this is?

  6. Gian:

Boy, you need to get to work. SHE is sick, and you need to do you best to make her feel better. Sit on her, make kitty biscuits, play with that string she has.

If she doesn't get better, it may be hard times for your supper bowl!

    Get to it!

  8. THIRTEEN DEGREES??? They are talking about it getting *maybe* getting down to 32 tonight and everyone is freaking out. But it's been nasty rainy though, it looked like snow for a little while, but it was just slightly frozen rain.
I am so sorry you are sick though. That's not fun at all. I'll try sending some of my "future pharmacist fell good vibes". But in the event that those don't work, keep hydrated! Also, don't "lie" down too much. By staying somewhat elevated you can help prevent that all the mucous from getting infected. You don't want to follow your flu with Bronchitis/ Sinusitis and all those other "itis"s :o) But I'm sure you know all that good stuff.
    Hope you feel better :o)

  9. It's pretty, pink, and beaded... could it be one of Jon's snowflakes? I'm too lazy to go get the book and check.

I hope you're feeling better soon!

  10. Get well soon!

Is it something from Jon's new snowflake book? Shamefully, I don't have it myself yet, but I think it looks like her style.

  11. lol thanks for the clarification on the temp. 55 would have been nice for us down here. I don't think it go about 40 degrees (or 4.44 degrees Celsius). You'd think a Science major like myself would think in the mindset of SI units but the American in me won today :o)
