Tatting Two!

Maybe I am getting to be like all of you who have so many shuttles on the go at one time. I just could not face the hanky any more, so I got out my new shuttle and looked at my stash of findings, and...

voilà!

Now I am tatting two things at once again.  Could be the beginning of a new trend.

  1. How fun! Is that the motif from Nancy Tracy's last newsletter? I just tatted it, in yellow and orange. Fun and nice, but I did have to block it to lay flat - putting it on that finding and making it 5 sided may just do the trick for you!

I love the shiny strand on the chain thread. I have been thinking I need to investigate some shiny threads soon...

  8. Can't wait to see what this is going to be. I love having a second something to work on if the first is causing problems :)

  9. Spring had better hurry up if it wants to catch up with you! REALLY pretty colors, Fox - I especially like how the silver thread mirrors the center piece. I think more irons in the fire is more fun, where creativity is concerned, that is...

  12. Go, go, go!

It is not uncommon to find 3 - 6 tatting WIPs on my table at any given time. (WIP = Work In Progress)The downside is that all my shuttles are tied up and it is hard to focus on finishing them, as new ideas, techniques, distractions crop up.

Your "take a break" project really is pretty. Are the delicate pink petals a projection of your earnest desire for the arrival of Spring?

  13. Un bello efecto y el color delicioso y la idea de agregar hilo con brillos lo hace lucir genial.
