Counting My Blessings

I KNOW I am very lucky.

I do not have to worry about the basics - the very basics; food, shelter, clothing. I live simply, but I live well and according to my own life choices. I live in a wealthy country, one of the safest in the entire world, that offers medical care to all. I enjoy freedom unknown to countless others.

My environment is clean by comparison to smog-ridden cities elsewhere. Water and land are in abundance in my corner of our world. I count my blessings for these things and so, so many others every day.

In spite of all this, I tremble and quake.......

WILL I HAVE ENOUGH THREAD?

  1. You're so funny! It's a beauty even if you have to stop now..but since you feel the need to finish (and hopefully without adding more thread), I will keep my fingers crossed for you since you can't actually do that for yourself while tatting! :)

  5. If you're using a 50 yard skein of HDT, yes! You will have enough to finish! I promise! Unless, of course, you cut some of the thread off. In fact, you should have enough left to make two Stumpy bookmarks! : )

I have been looking at all your Wheels for reassurance!

I knew beforehand that you had LOTS left, but, I have had a number of unfortunate starts......: ))

  7. Perhaps it is time for you to start calculating thread requirements? I know that you know where to find the formula because you sent it to me. Unless, of course, you thoroughly enjoy the suspense of not knowing...
